Safeney ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and business details you provide during registration.
  • Business data: Knowledge base content, product catalogs, and business configuration you upload to train your AI assistant.
  • Conversation data: Messages exchanged between your customers and the AI assistant on connected channels (e.g. WhatsApp).
  • Usage data: How you interact with our dashboard, including pages visited and features used.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed securely through our payment provider, Creem. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Email data: When you connect your email account (Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP), we access email metadata (sender, subject, date) and message content solely to provide email reading and sending features within the platform. We store authentication tokens securely in an encrypted vault to maintain your connection.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our services.
  • To train and improve your AI assistant based on the knowledge base you provide.
  • To process transactions and manage your subscription.
  • To communicate with you about service updates and support.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.

4. Data Isolation & Security

Each tenant's data is logically isolated. Your business data and customer conversations are never shared with other tenants. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

5. AI & Your Data

Your data is used solely to power your AI assistant. We do not use your business data or customer conversations to train general-purpose AI models. Your data remains yours.

6. Email Integration & Google API Disclosure

When you connect a Gmail account, Safeney accesses your email data through the Google API. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only access Gmail data that you explicitly authorize (reading and sending emails) and only to provide the email features within Safeney.
  • We do not use your Gmail data for advertising, market research, or to train general-purpose AI models.
  • We do not sell, share, or transfer your Gmail data to third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g. passing email content to your AI assistant) or as required by law.
  • Your email authentication tokens are stored in an encrypted vault and are only used to maintain your email connection.
  • You can revoke Safeney's access to your Gmail at any time by disconnecting your email in Settings or by removing access in your Google Account permissions.

Similarly, when you connect an Outlook account, we access your email data through the Microsoft Graph API under equivalent principles. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting in Settings or through your Microsoft account settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Creem: Payment processing and subscription management.
  • WhatsApp: Messaging channel integration.
  • Google API Services: Gmail integration for reading and sending emails on your behalf when you connect your Gmail account.
  • Microsoft Graph API: Outlook integration for reading and sending emails on your behalf when you connect your Outlook account.
  • AI model providers: To power the conversational AI capabilities.

These providers have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
